Birdwatching Basics Class
Designed for the novice birdwatcher or someone just beginning, this course will provide basic tools to begin a life-long enjoyment of birds. The classroom portion will cover basic bird biology, binoculars, field guides, identification tips, and local families of birds. Friday, March 28th - 1-2pm $5 Friday, April 11th - 1-3pm $5 Plan to attend both classes, if possible. You will learn how to identify local butterflies and moths. Learn when/where to find them and how to attract them to your property. Local lep lover and Naturalists’ Club board member Colleen Wolpert will share her vast knowledge and answer your questions.
