NOTES FROM A ROADSIDE NATURALIST
A crowd favorite, Rick Bunting will return this September to show some of his amazing photographs and give some of the highlights of the past year.
Rick is a great storyteller and he will have a wide-variety of wildlife and flora pictures to share. His time in the field is filled with wonderful observations that he loves sharing.
Rick Bunting is Professor Emeritus from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam where he served as Chair of Music Education and conductor of the renowned Crane Chorus. He continues his musical endeavors as a guest conductor and as a member of the Susquehanna String Band.
Since his retirement from teaching he has devoted a great deal of time to his passion as an amateur naturalist. He enjoystaking pictures of what he sees and sharing them whenever he can.
September Open House
Our September meeting is our annual open house. Please invite your friends and neighbors to attend a meeting and learn about our club’s activities.
Barb Cole will bring a rescued animal. At the meeting, we encourage members to show their support for local wildlife rehabilitators by helping to collect donations of rehabilitation supplies. Suggested donations include: small coffee filters, baby food, powdered milk, old blankets and towels, dog food, and paper towels.
